In my last KR Connect post (21^st October), I mentioned that we were in The Fairmont, La Hacienda for five days.  It’s a great resort for some peace, tranquillity, Family time, spa time, beach time and golf time.

I managed to get in some of that, but the focus really was on entertaining, inspiring and challenging 130 or so Fairmont / Raffles leaders under my old friend Omer Acar’s care, guidance and direction.

We had a blast.

Hospitality General Managers and Leaders are simply the best people to hang out with.  They are the original people-people. 

They love pleasing people and they’re really good at it.

They are great storytellers, great conversationalists, great team-builders and great fun to be with.

We were all influenced and inspired by some stimulating external speakers and then we had a great day working directly on some leadership, coaching and team building stuff as well as working together in identifying the five must-win battles in the hospitality world.
