Playing To Win in Boston (Episode 8)

Andrea Piana and I were invited by the brilliant, inspirational, entrepreneurial Ana Bakshi – fresh from leading Oxford University’s Foundry Innovation Hub – to join the final two days of MIT’s Delta V class at The Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship.
Celebrating 10 years of the Delta V Accelerator, Ana is in her first year as Executive Director of the programme following in the (very large) footsteps of charismatic, inspirational author, founder, mentor and lighthouse, Bill Aulet.
What a great couple of days – spent with Ana’s talented team of entrepreneurs, mentors, lecturers, guides, coaches, creators and co-ordinators – co-creating an inspirational, updated, VUCAA-sensitive Purpose, connecting Past, Present and Future for this world-changing Accelerator.
Everyone diving in with a solid day’s work and a foundational set of Character attributes and Beliefs were developed.
And then a long 12 hour day with the 13 start-ups. Exhausting, uplifting, energising, fast moving – with everyone Playing to Win.
Everything starts with Purpose – and these 13 start-ups are well on the way to success.
Mens et Manus!
Three days in dynamic Boston – at Carlos Bueno’s outstanding Raffles, and the Tartan Army in town drinking Boston dry. Unforgettable.
