Back in Dubai – normality is being restored.  Hotel occupancy is now over 50%, and morale in the City is positive.  Optimism and belief are strong.  Summer is hot of course, but prices are low, flight costs are bargains, hotel rooms are available and great value – a time to visit for contrarians and bargain hunting believers.  And extra brilliant for kids as the queues are non-existent.

I was with some of my favourite people from the mighty Averda.  Malek has rejigged his team over the past 12 months and he’s getting close to having a Champions League squad on the books.  Focus is on executing with precision, creating winning teams in each market, and Refresh and Restore.  With a major reset in 2027 as the region bounces back and we accelerate in a couple of big markets.
